Shawn Southard
CWCS, CWBA Shawn Southard joined Whitehurst Strategic Partners in January 2008. Shawn’s main responsibility at the firm is to bring employee wellness programs to North Carolina companies that have the desire and need to have a healthier, more productive workforce. He represents both large and small companies in this endeavor. He is currently working toward his designation as a Certified Nutritionist. Shawn has an extensive background in the insurance industry. He has delivered numerous educational seminars to employer groups on various topics relating to personal safety, wellness and risk management. Shawn has also earned the prestigious Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist designation (CWCS). Shawn is active in his community. He is a charter member of the Wakefield-Wake Forest Rotary Club; a volunteer at the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Wake Forest where he has advised the club’s leadership group, which performs several community service projects annually.
